An armored truck transporting ridiculous quantities of gold must be captured by a quartet of amateurs hiding out in the desert in Baadshaho. Not a bad idea on paper. It’s been a while since Bollywood did a good heist film. But Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture director Milan Luthria, working from a pathetic script that appears to have been written on the go, delivers an overlong clunker that’s neither thrilling nor fresh

Unfortunately, after 10 more minutes, this is exactly what happens, and Baadshaho begins to turn into a dull affair. The weakest part in this so-called heist film is the heist itself. In fact, it’s one of the easiest heists in cinematic history where the people in charge of protecting the gold truck are the most clueless. The authorities get hold of everyone except the most obvious suspect.Milan Luthria wants Baadshaho to have headstrong and cynical characters, and the most convenient way of doing it in Bollywood is by projecting sensational dialogues. Rajat Arora comes handy as he pens one-liners such as ‘Aapke sone ka carat humare character ko kharab nahi kar sakta’ and ‘Queen ke saath ek cover bhi hota hai’.

You can see the twists coming a mile off. But that’s also part of the masala-movie experience, this knowing what’s going to come up next. The surprise comes from how the audience reacts to Sanjay Mishra, who plays a wizened safe-cracker: he has some of the best lines in the film, and gets the maximum applause, even more than Devgn who gets the mandatory hoots-and-whistles at the ‘hero’s entry’, as well as Hashmi, who is back in his familiar skirt-chasing loutish avatar

Review :-
On paper, Baadshaho may have had the merit of a Hollywood heist thriller like Ocean’s Eleven. This would seem like why Ajay Devgn agreed to be a part of this multi-starrer– that attempts to make outlaws look like Robin Hood. However good intention is defeated, when the execution offers zero novelty.
